Common Issues.

Tree/Plant Roots.

Trees and plants are in constant pursuit of moisture in the ground, because of this the root systems often find underground Pipework and will enter the pipework at any failed joints or cracks. Once a root enters the pipework they continue to grow this in turn results in blockages which can cause a lot of damage to your house. Tree roots can be cut out of the pipe using our pipe cleaning techniques however they will continue to grow back and cause even more damage if a permanent solution is not installed. .

Cracked,Broken or Collapsed Pipework

A lot of pipe work that was installed over 25 years ago has reached the effective use date, due to this a lot of pipes now require rehabilitation or replacement in some cases damage has already occurred and the pipework is badly broken or collapsed this can be very expensive to fix and will also result in blockages that can cause a lot of damage to your house.

Grease Blockages.

Pouring grease down your sink will end up in your drain and sewer pipes. The fats in grease get broken down into fatty acids and glycerol. These fatty acids bind to calcium found in sewer pipes to create a soap compound. This causes the grease fat compound to stick to the ceiling of the sewer pipes, creating a stalactite type structures. In turn this build up can cause clogs in the sewer line and backups.

Blocked Toilets.

Flushing diapers, napkins, facial tissues, wet wipes, sanitary products and other waste down your toilet causes clogs and backups in your drain or sewer line.

Foreign objects in the drainage system.

Foreign objects such as toys, balls, leaves, sand, rubbish and other solid materials have often been found in both sewer and stormwater drainage systems these objects can cause the pipe to block up and result in damage to your house.
